What are some pain relievers for ducks that don’t require a prescription?

I did yesterday and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. It just covered his legs in a new messy substance.

Right now I'm focusing on preventing infection because he has a few exposed spots. In particular an area where one of his nails fell off. The skin is coming off and I can see the dying muscle and bone of that toe... I've been soaking his feet in Epsom salts in the mornings and a Tricide Neo solution before bed.

Here are some quick pictures. It's nothing fancy, just a piece of mis-match fabric, a rubber maid container, and clips. The fabric has 3 holes in it. 2 for his legs and 1 for his droppings.

How does he act today still seem to be in alot of pain? is he eating?

He's acting a bit better.

He never lost his appetite. He's still eating like a pig and I've been giving lots of extra treats.

Goodness, do you not think there's any hope of saving any of the part that Frost bitten I really don't know that much about it I need to read up on it. Poor baby.
