You are absolutely right. I wish someone would tell me why Americans aren't up in arms demanding that only individual Americans can contribute to a campaign. It would get rid of corporate, PAC, SuperPAC and foreign entities from buying our elections. It would force them to go into bribery mode and risk exposure and potential prosecution. However, they don't like to do that to their own. Something about throwing stones at glass houses. While we are at it make the lobby process illegal. It is nothing more than legalized bribery!

And since the fools ( on both sides ) we all keep sending to DC forget that we are a Representative Republic and that they are only "elite" because we allow them to be, can't seem to take a firm stand on anything, maybe all major legislative bills should go to the public for a vote of affirmation or nay every two years?
And everyone wants to defend their person instead of having the courage of conviction and making a moral stand on their TRUE beliefs. It's become "I agree with whatever is popular", like high school peer pressure and the mentality seems similar in that no one wants to research deeper than the surface. I LOLOLOL when I hear people say that Abraham Lincoln was the best President and that he freed the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation ( 1863 ) when that was nothing more than what today we would call part of a presidential address or a suggestion at best, and Congress passed it in 1865, the same year it was ratified. Almost a year after his death with not a single democrat vote in the Senate.. And even funnier when Wiki removed his "republican" banner, because they thought he was so great. They may have yet to return it to facts, but I doubt it.

They say history belongs to the victor. If one really wants to know and is willing to move their laptop to the side and put down their phone and look through both the accurate and inaccurate for the provable and known, the truth can be concluded.

But they are going to slaughter Joe in the debates and he won't hold up under the heat. The hundreds of millions of dollars funneled to his Son by Ukraine and China while he was VP is now also being reported by mainstream media, so the establishment wants to take him out.

Bernie is the only one drawing any crowds right now but I still think Michelle Obama might step in. She's just avoiding early heat because as soon as she announces, all the other candidates would immediately be forgotten. Conservatives laugh at the thought but she just filled large arenas across the country at $30 to $3000 a seat, for a book tour. If she ran, she could fill not just arenas but large stadiums.
Michelle is the most popular person in the country, beating #2 by 3 to 1.

I do not know how that side of the masses are not standing with Bernie, given the exposure of how the DNC cheated and manipulated to get rid of him last go round. He should have been their nominee. It may indeed be off topic, but this thread topic ultimately leads to such discussions and I like you Tropie, but I don't know where you get your info from. There has not been a national candidate in over 50 years who has turned down, failed to have been offered or refused corporate/organization campaign donations. All you have to do is go take a look at the publicly available prior campaign finance reports.

The world has been warming since the beginning of the industrial revolution (but not as you say at a great rate) because that's when the Little Ice Age ended, which probably was a great contributing factor to the industrial revolution.
