Really? I didn’t know that about microwaves. Interesting. It wouldn’t help with a cell phone since the towers would be down. What else might I use? Perhaps the computer but again no electricity. HmmmmOnly thing you need to save you from an EM pulse is a Farraday cage, easiest way to protect your devices from it. You already have one in your home and that is called a microwave or EM pulse safe. Now I need to build a Jeep sized one one to keep my Wrangler safe from that! I hope it runs well on methanol cause I know how to make a still, but for other reasons.
Maybe I should get a landline telephone as a backup. They dismantled all the pay phones.Really? I didn’t know that about microwaves. Interesting. It wouldn’t help with a cell phone since the towers would be down. What else might I use? Perhaps the computer but again no electricity. Hmmmm

thisI got my 17 yo grandson into a welding program partially paid by the state. Stuff will need to be fixed and other metal things created. Don't forget the trades.
