What are you baking now?

Those look great, sometimes I put M&Ms in mine-just to step them up a litte bit.
Thats a good idea to put less rice krispies in-they do seem dry-and I kind like gooey-chewy.

I always put more butter and marshmallows in mine to keep them gooey not dry. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

They are also great with peanut butter added to the marshmallows while melting. DH loves them like this with chocolate drizzled on top. I like them better without the chocolate.

Just getting a tummy ache from wolfing down some peanut butter banana whoopie pies I came up with a recipe for. I think the fudge frosting I sandwiched them with was over doing it!

You could make an apple cobbler....there is a crock pot apple butter recipe here some where everyone loves maybe it can be searched. I hope that helps!

I just made an apple crisp the other night with a bag of reject apples from the store.

Peel and cut them up with 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp flour and 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Crumb topping:

1/4 brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour 3 tbsp soft butter

Press together with a fork and then crumble on top of the chopped apples & bake 350 for 20-30 minutes depending on how deep your dish is.

(I only used 4 apples in mine)

Sunday night was four loaves of Dun Hagan standard whole wheat bread. Saturday morning was a big batch of multi-grain blueberry and apple muffins and a burn across the top of my left wrist when I touched the top of the oven taking them out!

I am going to make some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and should probably make some banana bread. I have some over-ripe bananas to use up. Happy baking! It's a good think to do in a snow-storm.
