What are you baking now?

that looks wonderful.
I made scones for my English friend Monday. The Barefoot Contessa was doing them and I recorded her show so I could get the technique right. You know how sometimes just reading a recipe doesn't do it unless you actually "see" them do it.

You can find the recipe on Food network under..oatmeal/maple scones.

That looks great. I mix up maple and sage breakfast sausage. This would go great with that. Seems to be a great way in use up my pulp from when I juice in the mourning.

You will love it here!

The cheesey bread looks yummy! Cheese makes everything good.

Today was one of those days that we haven't had as a family in a long time. DH, DD and I spent time all together in the kitchen. We made a pound cake for some fresh strawberries DH brought home today.

We also made chocolate and vanilla coated pretzels loaded with all sorts of toppings.

Even coated a few strawberries, potato chips and caramels. All around a very nice day!

Cream Cheese pound cake. Trying to use up these eggs.
Then Iam freezing them so when its too hot out to bake we can have strawberry short cake. Or Peach short cake.
Maybe a punch bowl cake for Easter gathering. With strawberry banana freezer jam and coolwhip Ohhh yeah.

Freezing pound cake- what a great idea! I have too many eggs too. Been trying out variations of the 10 egg cake recipe. Do you have the recipe for cream cheese pound cake?
