What are you baking now?

I've soaked em' in salt water for a bit then bake them. You can also add cajun seasoning .... yummmmm

I've actually found boiling them in salt water for awhile gives them more flavor. Then bake them.

I have to get an Amish starter out of the freezer and get that going again. I always bake those for the farmers market customers during Fall & the holiday season. Thanks for the reminder.

Yesterday I baked......

Home made Egg Pizza Crust

Here it is all rolled out and ready for toppings:

And finished with homemade sauce, mozzarella, Anaheim peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives, bacon, and hot sausage from our pastured pork.

Nothing left of that pie but 1 1/2 slices after DH & I got into it last night.

There's a second crust from the recipe....Hmmmmm.....I might make a Spinach, Garlic and Feta Pizza out of it tonight.

I am not baking for the holidays yet; but I made brownies the other day.

Tomorrow I will probably bake a loaf of sandwich bread; some white flour (no teff) injera, and maybe some naan, tortillas, or Greek style pita or two out of three. I'm not sure if anything other than the sandwich bread really qualifies as "baking" since I use a covered skillet or tortilla iron to make them.

I have some great apples ripening up; but it isn't likely that I will get to bake them up before people eat them all straight off the trees.

Your welcome and yes I will take a slice

Last night I made a fritatta. I've never made one before, and I thought it would be great since it uses up more eggs than a quiche. (less fattening too) My kids grumbled, "we're not having THAT for dinner are we?" and "that looks gross" but they both ended up liking it.

Kim

That pizza looks wonderful - no wonder there was so little left.

Sandee

Thanks Sandee - we polished the last of it off as a snack before going to market today. I'm making fajitas tonight and saving the second crust for another day.

Thanks Jen for the link on FB! So glad you liked the recipe.

I enjoyed looking at your album of food photos too. I've started one over there, but haven't got as many pics posted. It's here:
