Broccoli, Ham, and Smoked Provolone Quiche

Ingredients:
1 – BAKED 9” pie crust
2 cups broccoli florets thawed
½ med onion chopped
1 small glove garlic
1 cup shredded provolone ( about 4 – 5 ounces)
6 ox chooped / diced ham
4 Large eggs
1 cup skim ½ & ½ OR use milk
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper


Directions:
Prebake pie crust.
Saute onion and garlic in 1 tbls veg oil OR EVOO until tender and light brown
Mix in a seprate bowl – eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Assemble quiche in LAYERS….
Layer 1 – diced ham
Layer 2 – vegetables: broccoli, onion, and garlic
Layer 3 – Cheese ( I used sliced provolone 5 or 6 slices)
Layer 4 - Egg mixture
Cover crust with foil to prevent excessive browning while baking.
Bake at 350 for 45 – 60 minutes. Bake until top is golden brown.
