Please tell me your technique. I spent hours trying to pit them, ate that cup of fruit fresh, and decided to steam them with the pit and mash the fruit off... but they tasted awful, like hay.
Maybe freezing them would work. mine are large pits that the fruit clings to, and not that much fruit.
However, I too get bushels of them and hate to see them go to waste.
