I got 7 pints of nectarine blackberry jam done tonight. Along with 3 loaves of chocolate zucchini bread.

Today I put up the crockpot apple butter, made some gingered pear jam (so done with the pear harvest), am about to do a batch of salsa and then, if there's time and energy, more applesauce to try and wade through the lugs of apples in the other room.

Tomorrow taking the day off to go to the NM State Fair...and will see what everybody else has been canning!

How do you sterilize your lids? There is a mark in the bottom of DW's pan that I use from the rings and lids being sterilized in hot water.

Oh, I like that. Now if I can get one of those I might stop burning my fingers when I take the lids out. Of course I'll probably manage to burn myself another way...
