I LOVE to can! I was really glad to find this thread, and I will be posting pics as soon as I have some to post!We have 30 tomato plants, so I'm hoping to can them whole, as sauce, salsa, and rotel this summer. And then we should have lots of green beans too, so I'll can those because my kids love just eating them cold out of the jar! But my closest project is jelly and jam making. Here in LA, we're about to start picking blackberries, then blueberries closely follow that. If I can get my hands on some fresh strawberries, I'll try my hand at some triple berry jam. But otherwise, I'll be making blackberry and blueberry jelly, as well as some mayhaw. I always make huge batches of jelly and then set them in my pantry. They keep really well, and so I haven't made jelly in like, 2 years! Yay! Can't wait!!!
