What are you canning now?

Yup--it was yours! I had it printed off until I could find a deal on cranberries! Man--they were expensive this year even the week before Thanksgiving. I am saving some for me too--great idea to put it on a sandwich. Terri O

About a month ago my DD made the Plum Conserve recipe in the Blue Ball canning book. It's on page 51 in my book. This is my favorite new recipe we've done this year. It is out of this world tasty! She used English walnuts instead of pecans and I would do it that way again. You just wouldn't believe the flavor this has! Way to go DD!

Cranberries cranberries and more cranberries. Cranberry Sauce and Cranberry Jelly. I had an overwhelming response for Thanksgiving and now orders are already coming in for Christmas. I dont think the price has been to bad i get 3lbs for about 4 dollars

Oh wow! I wonder what Sam's has? I have always wanted to make cranberry wine, but that is what you do with fruit that you have WAAAAY too much of. I never have enough cranberries.

Our Costco had 3 pounds of Cranberries for 2.99, I picked up a bag so I guess I will be canning this week!

Were they on sale or was that your regular price? Maybe I need to check costco again

I am all done canning... My jars have run down to nothing at this point, and they'll barely get me through Christmas. Which is good! I just need to sell more cookies to make up for it... then start canning ALL over again in the spring.

Went to costco today to check and cranberries were 2.99 for 3 lbs yup a dollar less than before thanksgiving. I stocked up and froze a couple bags( okay like 6) so that after the holidays i can make sauce and jelly as needed till they show up in stores again.
