Do what I did the first time i cooked up one of my birds. I bought some chicken from the store and cooked it with one of my chickens and DW had no idea which one she was eating so she was ok with it, and now it does not bother her at all (as long as I don't ask her to come out and help me process them)

I'm kind of confused about this whole LOWES having a canning sale. Our LOWES doesn't and never did sell canning supplies. Guess it's just up there that they did.

Really? I found bunches online...but didn't see anything noted as on sale. I'm tempted to run out there since I need more wide mouth pints.

Not all canning stuff is on sale;( but alot of good stuff is...my lowes carries nothing in my Tundra area:/ Online you can look up your store and see whats for sale

I saw stuff on Lowe's website, nothing noted as on sale but the prices were lower than other places by a bit, plus free delivery.

What's a good price on tomatoes at the farmers market? Our local farmers market had boxes of Roma tomatoes for $12 each. Each box is 25 lbs. Is that a decent price?

Depends on if its worth it to you! Lol I paid 20$ for around 90 lbs....
