I just started reading The Obsession by Nora Roberts the other day. So far, it's good and has me reaching for it every spare chance I get. I really need to know what will happen next!

1. Moon Over Manifest (Clare Vanderpool), Newbury award winner;
2. Navigating Early (Clare Vanderpool).

Just because I Say that they're 6th-8th doesn't mean someone older won't enjoy them too!

I don't know anything about the Newbury award, but I have noticed that books I like a lot are often winners of that award.

The Hunger Games trilogy was written for teenagers, I think. I enjoyed them and I'm far from being a teenager. They were quick, easy reads, of course, but definitely interesting page-turners.

I finished The Obsession by Nora Roberts. I couldn't put it down! It was great! I'm reading Dark Witch now (also Nora Roberts). Too early to tell how good it will be still.

i like to read those easy quickies after a longer series or 'heavy' reads
