I'm listening to this right now (not as we speak, but as I drive LOL).
It's 30 discs, and I'm on #20.
I've gotten so hooked on audio books! This one is so gripping, I can't even imagine reading it. I never thought I'd say those words.
I've been a tremendous reader all of my life, and a huge Stephen King fan. I've gotten so much more into audio books than actual reading lately. I feel like I'm going to be struck down for saying that! LOL I have to blame it on my commute!
I've also read/listened to nearly all, if not all, of Jodi Picoult, Jonathan Kellerman, Dean Koontz, Janet Evanovitch (it's a Jersey thing!), I could beat myself for not recalling the author of the Kay Scarpetta books, Ed McBain, Joseph Wambaugh, and I can't stay up all night doing this!
I haven't done many audio books. I usually listen to cds and sing along while driving. I do enjoy all the authors you have mentioned. Patricia Cornwell writes the Scarpetta books. Another along the same line is Kathy Reichs and her Tempe Brennan books. Boy oh how I love Janet Evanovitch!! Stephanie Plum and her friends and family make me laugh out loud. I LOVE her books!!
