What are your chickens afraid of?

I went to go put mine up when it was raining holding my big green john deere umbrella they are absolutly terrified of it. My bantams flew across our yard into the trees and tall grass. After I catch them they realize "Oh. Well this isn't that bad." and calm down then I move them out from under the unbrella to see the whole thing and they freak out again.

My dad's are afraid of EVERYTHING!! I threw some corn in their run the other day, cuz they were watching me put some out for my free rangers and practically drooling, and everyone of them went running for the coop...until they figured out it was food!

My DH walked by the coop carrying a maroon dog crate the other day. I thougt they were going to squeeze through the chicken wire on the other side.

the dog, but only on certain occasions.

Mostly they ignore him and the cats.
My rooster is afraid of us. He never allows any of us to get near him, which is strange since we have never been anything but kind to all of them. But he always has an "eye" on us when we are hanging out in the run with them
