Bruiser: big feisty fierce silkie roo. it's so cute to see him try to do his stuff with the hens.
    The name explains itself.

Barley: big buff orp roo, biggest chicken in the bunch.

    A grain.

Big Bella, Big Bertha: White rock hens, very hormonal.

Bella is very serious about laying in just the right place. Bertha does the squawking.

lots more but i can't fit on the page.

We are new to chickens, so we haven't named all 18 yet. We sit outside the coop and watch them in the evenings. ( its very relaxing) Anyways, we started naming them as we sit.....

    So far we have:

Henrietta and Henny Penny (white leghorns)
Gloria and Gretchen (sex links, i think)
    Layla (black giant)
Harriet (no clue what she is, but it looks like she has on a wig!)

Roody, Roofus and Rooben (The 3 Roos)

Reba (cause she is a red head)
    Blondie( Buff of some sort)

The rest are little and look too much alike to name then yet. guess we will just have to sit and watch them a little longer!!![IMG]
