I like to garden, write, read and draw...I make DreamWebs and Tshirts to sell, occasionally. I like to watch NASCAR and Baseball. I blog on myspace and have my own chicken site too even though it's nowhere near as successful as this one.
I don't Geocache, but there is a lower tech version called Questing that I do and haven't done for a couple of years. It's like a scavenger hunt and at the end you stamp their book and leave a note that you found their book and use their stamp for your book. It's fun and it gets you outdoors. Mike doesn't like to do them, and I like to do things with him, but now that he's discovered girls all bets are off.

I love to garden and photography is my passion. I have all my pets to care for too.

My best past time is sitting on my deck with a glass of wine watching my chickens being themselfs.

I USED to sew and knit alot, as well as cross stitch and embroidery, quilting etc.....

Now I work full time I dont HAVE any time, I now spend my few free hours riding my horse, playing with my kids and surfing BYC....

I spend time with my kids(3 and 4) and they keep me very busy, but I also like to run, hike, mountain bike and kayak. I also make glass beads, but I don't do that much in the summer because Las Vegas is SOOOO hot and torching glass just makes the house hotter!!!

Wendy, you are not dumb, you are learning, there are lots of things I don't have a clue about. Geocaching is like a scavanger hunt. Or a treasure hunt. you don't let anyone see you find the cache but you exchange an item hidden in a cache box and log in at the center geocaching site to show you found the hidden cache.
Go here and check it out.
http://www.geocaching.com/ I hope I did that right if not just type in the address.

Well, i would describe it as kinda a hi-tech treasure hunt lol. you have to have some sort of a GPS unit. but basically what ya do is you get a set of grid coordinates and put them into your gps unit and just follow where it takes you to lol. usually it is some out of the way scenic place or some place of historic significance or it could be just a really cool spot somewhere. They are rated for everyone from kids and seniors to more demanding, there is a rating system as well. Its actually quite fun and a great way to get out with family and friends, get a little exercise and see somethings that you normally wouldnt get a chance to see or even think about. then when ya get there its like "this is really cool!" they could be in citys, or out in the country...and i guaranty you that there is a cache within 5 miles of anyone here.

to add to Forrest's reply, it is lots easier with a gps but I know some folks who don't have one and still geocache. Personally, I have trouble figuring it out with a gps let alone not have one. ha It really is fun.
