Just finished reading Hen & the Art of Chicken Maintenance by Martin Gurdon

Laugh out loud funny! With his sarcastic humor, clever wit, & colorful backward British vocabulary, Martin Gurdon gracefully possesses the ability to not only laugh at his chicken's antics, but at his too! He learns from experience and boldly writes about his shortcomings and successes. A true joy to read. Kept me grinning and giggling from start to finish.

I *just* started a book called "Shades of Grey", though it's not the one you are probably thinking of! This book is by Jasper Fforde and describes a civilization divided by the colors each "caste" can see. It seems really good so far!
