What breed and gender are these two youngsters?

Leg color says that the barred bird is PBR. I'm saying it's a pullet. I'm thinking those birds are closer to 10 weeks of age.

Sorry. My yard has a lot of treecover and these guys don't venture out from under the trees very often. I have tried getting them out but they are a tad stubborn.

Looks like a possible cockerel but if your planning on rehoming it then I definitely wouldn't recommend it, if you are unsure of the age then it could be a pullet.

I would wait at least another month. I would say 10 weeks is a pretty good guess on age, usually by 14 weeks cockerels are really obvious. Is it a trick of the lighting or do they have some gold in their coloring?
