What breed and gender is my new chicken, also why does her comb look like that.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum.
As you can see from the photo below my new chickens comb and wattles are very dark. Also I have no idea what breed or sex it is.

Probably a second generation silkie cross. Silkies have black skin. She looks to be a hen thus far, but do you know how old she is?

I agree, looks like a silkie mix.
Silkies are know for their dark skin and comb/wattles.

Sorry I have no idea how old she is was just given her a few days ago. She has been in the nesting box sitting for a while, I am even sure she was pulling eggs under her but then after a while she jumps out.

Do silkies go broody or is it down to the hormones?

Also she has like 2 feathers on each foot

Silkies frequently go broody. She probably doesn’t have as many feathers because she has some non-feather legged ancestry.

I think you've got a silkie mix. My hens look like that (minus the black skin) with the small comb and waddle. Good luck!
