looks like an EE, but I've never seen a blue Wyandotte.

Definitely a pullet. Looks a bit like a blue orpington x, but the comb is different.

You can check foot bottoms. They should be yellow. This variety's comb may appear different solely because it's a less popular variety and likely has been bred less for production and more for appearance. Hatchery Gold Laced Wyandottes often have incorrect comb structure, some even have single combs. Here's an example of one with slate legs (not my image)
