I don't think they are orpingtons. my orpingtons were orange at that age. I would say white rocks, rhode island whites or white leghorn.Yeah, i understand. But deep down I'm hoping they'll be Orpingtons because from what I've read they're pretty broody and make good mothers and I'd like to be able to have my girls hatch some chicks for me lol
i made an incubator out of an old mini fridge and it works great! I used the plans for the cooler-bator but switched it.Thanks for the info! I'm thinking about making an incubator when my other chickens (three months old right now) start laying and if i can get it to hold temp and humidity right I'll hatch some.
