LOL! dustin biery, that's just what someone suggested about Millie in the beginning of this thread, and may well be true about chicken-mama's girls.

chicken-mama, sorry for your loss. Was Bridget from the same parents as Lucy and Polly? They certainly look a lot like the feathersite photo of a BBR OEGB hen.

How many 5 wk olds have you, and are they OEGBs too?

She looks just like my OEGB except her ears are not red like mine. Take a look.

Notice how the roo is much more colorful. I was told the are BB Red color OEG Bantams. She lays an off white colored egg.

Dustin and Mudhen....considering the attitudes these two have, I'm pretty sure they're Game birds. Bridget was delicate and very mild mannered. Lucy and Polly are NOT.

They're bodies are very dense, though. They really are quite heavy. And do lay fairly small eggs.

As for their parentage, I have no clue. The dog brought Lucy home, and I adopted Polly and Bridget as young adults from the feed store.
