LF means large fowl. He looks like a leghorn to me, but doesn't have yellow legs. I think leghorns are used with rhode island reds to make red sex links, so maybe a male one of those.
If its a girl the chick will be solid black. The boys have a white dot on top of their heads. Then once they feather out the girls will stay back and the boys will be barred.
I have no idea on the breeds, it all depends on the breeder/hatchery
Mine is just getting in the last of her feathers. I noticed in the chest area there is some brownish gold in the feathers! Have any idea what breed that might be? Thanks for your help!
