Best rooster ever. He wasn’t. He was a man fighter. He’s the only one I have. Housed with three turkeys. He is now the biggest sweetheart. When he was a little chick I posted a pic on byc and guesses were road island red. But I question this now that he’s mature. Any guesses?

This may be a dumb question but what the heck is a hatchery quality bird? Is that like a puppy mill puppy? Meaning bad and in”line” breeding?
