He has a fluffy beard and cheeks. And his crest looks awkward as it's fully feathering out. Next to him is his sister who looks so different to him. His neck feathers remind me of a barred rocks feathers?

Possibly a cream Legbar or cross of that breed, although the hen has a beard, so if she's his full sister then he must be a mix.
If you're in Britain they might be a mix of the British version of Araucanas, which have small crests and beards, I believe. There would have to be some barred breed involved too, maybe Legbars or Barred Rocks. In any case, they are pretty birds!Thank you! Was sure he was mixed quite a bit as none of the chicks he came with looked alike apart from three, who also have the cheeks and beard. He's also a very fast growing young man, didn't want some accidental bearded buff Pekins!
