I was wondering if she's maybe a type of maran?

she does seemed mixed but i would say that there's some barred rock in there

What color legs does she have? I can't tell if they are slate or if they are white and just have dirt on them.

I don't think she is a marans, if she is she isn't an accepted color. i would lean more towards a mixed breed. Where did you get her from?

I don't know we've had them for 3 years and she was already here when I came, there's only 2 I do know the breeds off and one of then is my blooming cockerel lol x

What color eggs does she lay?

This is a tricky one. She could be a golden cuckoo Marans. She could be a barnyard mix. If she lays darkish eggs, feel free to call her the Marans.

we have five marans and a speckled maran who weve only had 2 weeks and shes now declared them her 'friends' this is most unusual and she blends in marvellously her body is exactly maran its just her golden cuff. I do believe she lays eggs very similar to our marans maybe a bit lighter but apparently this is because I take the corn practically out of the combine and chuck it to the chickens?
