Nice to see someone else on BYC from yorkshire. I would say your hen is a speckledy hybrid which is based on a marans. I'm not sure if the americans have them but they are very common in England.

The way he is standing looks like a game but the personality dosnt match with the games i have. I know there is one hatchery that had a white legged white leghorn.

I agree with the others: your hen is either a Golden Cuckoo Marans, or a mix of some sort. The white rooster is probably a mix, maybe with some White Marans in him.
