What Breed is This Bantam Rooster??

My daughter kindergarten teacher brought the eggs and incubators to school and they hatched eggs. I thought that was pretty cool for kindergartners. I am not real sure where she got the eggs from. Good possibility it is a mix or just hatchery quality.

He's a mille fleur Booted Bantam or Sabelpoot. I have a lemon mille fleur Sabelpoot called Popcorn.

No such thing as a D'Uccle without a beard and muff.

That is called a Booted Bantam.
This is a booted bantam.

Oh, I know that the standard calls for a beard and muffs. But a ton of people have been getting 'd'uccles' from hatcheries this year that lack them. Typical poor hatchery breeding. Technically there's no such thing as a silkie with a single comb either, but hatcheries churn those out all the time.

He could be a booted bantam, for sure.
