What breed is this dog?

I don't think there is Cav in that pup. The only thing Cav about it to me is the fur color. The ears would be totally different.

Is that puppy a little young? That could make it's head have a rounder look for it's breed, too.

Im pretty sure its a mutt, might be pure though, they got it from the human shelter. Its only 3.5 lbs, mom was 14 lbs, and its supposed to stay small. iwas thinking cavalier mix.

I have a cavalier and "cavachons" - they all have the cavalier ears. ( I am talking a total of 12 different puppies -all have had cav ears)

It sounds like they know what the mom was then if they know how much she weighed. Did they say what breed she was? Was she a sheltie? It looks like it could be a sheltie mix to me.

I agree on the sheltie mix and I would have said cav too except for those who say no. I vote sheltie/papillon mix. Super cute puppy!
