What breed is this? Meyer Meal Maker

You know, I had one partridge Rock a few years ago. What I do remember was she went through a stage where she had green-ish legs, but they evened out and were yellow as an adult. but I think you could be right, that could be the breed. It's hard to compare juvenile plumage with the adult in some of these patterns, they change so much!

Thank LoM for your input, appreciate it and the pics.

I'll update again in a few weeks! Thank you again for the time you took to share links and pictures and look at my posts. I really appreciate it, and I'm sure others in the future will find your posts beneficial.

Glad to do it. That's what BYC is about...helping each other (or rather enabling each other????)

Sometimes hatcheries leave you guessing, especially when the birds don't meet standards.

Time will tell :D

I could be completely off, but for me, the closest match appears to be a Dark Cornish.

Leg color is wrong. Head shape is wrong. Leg shape is wrong for Dark Cornish.

Chick down could be similar.

Comb type essential.

I can't really tell in the photos....the best comb shot, it appears single comb.

If that is true, then it can't be Dark Cornish as they are pea comb.

However, OP should post a good head shot of the comb.

Colors now do look similar to Dark Cornish, and some of the hatcheries have a lighter body on their Cornish, but it doesn't fit the body well of a typical Cornish at all.

This bird may be a mystery.

Those legs are very green and I am not sure but it does look like it has a pea comb. Is there anyway you can get a nice close up of the comb? to me it looks like an easter egger.

This is the best I could do... they're so wiggly! Her legs are greenish and have some black on them now.

Megc, I think that she could be either an easter egger or olive egger. If I am seeing well (lol) that is a pea comb correct?
