It's possible, but not if the eggs are pure white. My Wyandottes lay beige eggs. Light light brown.
Can you send a pic to the breeder? They would probably have a good idea.
I tried but eBay gave me an unspecific error message so maybe you can’t message after a certain time.

I don't think its a rose comb. Maybe a modified rose comb. I'm not sure what to call it.
You’re right, it is a bit odd. Reminds me of the combs I got when my cohin bred with my polish. Sort of like that weird, black, magnetic liquid
