What breed is this

This is Charlotte. She's a lovely friendly hen. I'm not sure what breed she is though. Any thoughts?

Mix, perhaps? I've also seen a few Barred Rocks that looked much like this, but I'm more inclined to think crossbreed.

She could be. She from a farm our horse is at. There's only her and a light Sussex.

There is also potential she's a Barred Rock (as select few appear quite unique like your girl). No matter what, she's beautiful.

She's definately a hen. She lays! She does look like yours only Charlotte looks to be a lighter black. Maybe she's ready for a molt?
