What breed is this?

    You all were so helpful with my last post; I'm adding another!

    I'm not sure what breed of chicken this is... she's a bantam and a pullet. I'm obviously new to chickens.[​IMG]

    She hasn't started laying yet, so I'm not sure about egg color.
     
  4. She's a Red-Breasted Rosecomb bantam :)

    PS I HATE mine! I mean I love her to Death, but she always flies away and never listens!
    They can be tame though as long as you feed some treats of course!

    Agree that she looks closest to this breed, but she seems rounder than a dutch usually is.

    And Marissa, she's adorable!

    yeah, I was thinking welsummer, but she has white/pink legs and a white earlobe.

    I'm not a big bantam person but I believe the Dutch bantams are the white lobed birds. I agree her body type looks a little off, and I don't know if that's a color usually found in that breed.
