You say you're ordering from Meyer Hatchery? While I love my Meyer birds, Eagle Nest Poultry's d'Uccles simply can't be surpassed as far as quality goes (considering these will be used for show).They're based in Oceola.
Myers Hatchery doesn't have d'Uccles so looks like I'm heading back to silkies, which is fine with me

I have d’Uccles and they are so pretty! But I have never seen show birds so mine might be ordinary. They are pretty friendly.
