Size wise, I'd say more cochin x polish x speckled sussex x jubilee orpington sort of thing. Swedish flower hen is also a distinct possibility....crossed with a cochin?Probably a mix of a mix. With that comb and crest I'd guess there's silkie in there somewhere. Although given the lack of black skin and I can't see any extra toes probably not a first generation silkie cross.
I’ve heard the d’Uccle before then they took it back and said they weren’t positive bc he looks like a mix. Looks like a perfect rooster to meWhat a gorgeous boy. He's definitely part Silkie, and the other part could be either Cochin or Mille Fleur d'Uccle.
Would a Cochin or d’Unccle mix or anything make sense ?Feathered feet and a partial crest, no beard, speckled....not sure. Swedish flower maybe....they can be speckled and crested...dunno on the feet. The speckled markings are usually recessive when mixed breeds....hmmmm.....not sure on anything with him. But he is stunning and I want him! Sadly, I'm in Montana so will have to settle for enjoying his pics
A lot of my chickens have cochin in them. I bought them from a farmer who I guess wasn’t caring about mixing geneticsSize wise, I'd say more cochin x polish x speckled sussex x jubilee orpington sort of thing. Swedish flower hen is also a distinct possibility....crossed with a cochin?
