what make everyone say its not a rhode island red in the first pic?? looks like one i showed last year, she had nice red coloring and bright yellow legs. even has some black in her tail. sure shes not SQ but she still looks pure rhode island red to me. and 2nd pic is a mix. all my hatchery rhose islands ive had have been much much lighter and poorer looking

Just because a chicken is Red and has Yellow legs doesn't mean that it is a R.I. Red. Nice bird but not a Rhode Island Red.

Not possible. They type is completely wrong, the legs are yellow and not pink, there are white feathers on the body and the overall color is brown/red with white, not pure golden buff.
