What breed ??

Hi,
My name is Elijah and i was wondering what is the best duopurpse duck breed for me. I live in a small acreage with neighbours close by so i would need a quiet breed, also a big breed because it can get pretty cold here in Canada.

Pekins are the industry standard for dual purpose ducks (Here in canada anyway)

Is the plan to eat the males and keep the females to lay?

Because if your going to keep some females for laying there are smaller breeds who will eat less and lay more

Appleyard or Buffs are a great duel purpose and do well in Canadian winters.
