What breeds do you wish you had?

Ive had, white leghorns, brown leghorns, buff orbs, ee’s, RIR’s, barred rocks, amberlinks, red sexlinks, black sexlinks, silkies, polish, saphire gems, light brahmas, silver & gold laced wyandottes, black Australorps, many bantam breeds, and many that I am probably forgetting, but I wish I have marans, speckled Sussex, and lots of other rare breeds, but I like to go to the feed stores and buy chicks, because I hate doing it online. So every year we go to 5 feed stores and get chicks, so eventually I will find this breeds.

Next year I'm going get barred rocks!
My 3 Barred Rock pullets are sweeties!! SO GLAD I got Them! I have 2 Sliver Laced Wyandottes (Flighty, bullies, can't pick them up) and 2 Rhode Island Reds ( the top chickens but I can cuddle them anytime). I thought Barred Rocks were ordinary but they are so friendly they come running every time I visit the garden/coop.

I wish I got barred rocks.
I love my birds, but I've always wanted a silkie. I ordered a few and they arrived sick/dead. I haven't tried again. But I did get Polish!

And, it's a pipe dream, but it would be amazing to fence in a large area and get ostriches! I don't have the knowledge or resources for that though. So, no ostriches.

Long, long ago, I had Millie Fleur d'Uccles, some OEGB in Crele and red Pyle and bantam Cochins in red, black, buff, white, barred, mottled, birchen, and Columbian. This time around I chose many from the straight run bantams at TSC to see what we would get. We also chose EEs, Welsummer, buttercups, Anconas, standard Cochins and ended up with a Dixie rainbow and a red star. We sold the ones that turned out to not be our style. In standards, we have; EE, buttercups and Welsummers. In the bantams we kept 6 d'Uccles ( a trio each of Millie Fleur and porcelain), 6 Cochin (1 black, 2 white frizzle, 3 silver laced), a buff laced seabright and 7 OEGB in self blue, splash, spangled, red pyle, silver duck wing and one I don't know the color of. We got rid of Polish, red frizzle, d'Anvers, seabrights, Silkie, Japanese and are still looking for homes for the barred rock and Delaware bantam roos. I love what we ended up with. I love the feather foot bantams and Cochins in particular, but my biggest surprise was how friendly the buttercups are. We have had so much fun with it this year that there are twenty more in the brooder. Most from the mixed bantams so we won't know what we have for a while.

Ostriches will probably try to kill you. They are not friendly.
