I really like this hen a lot so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
My RP hen who has 3 younger poults on her side was just fine (nothing abnormal at all) this morning when I fed and did my normal routine. Well when I just went out to feed for the evening my hen is sitting in doorway of the pen. Her mouth is slightly open. She is not breathing hard but there is sound as she breathes. She won't move. Everyone else in the pen seems fine. What could this be? Is there anything I can do? She is my only RP hen and I really hate to lose her. She has had heck with poults and that is why she only has 3 left. All the feed stores just closed for the night also (of course).
