I recently purchased 3 chicks that were all suposed to be gold laced wyandottes, but they were in the same cAGe as some BA's. Chick one i think actually is a GLW but chick two and three i aint sure

There is such a variety in the amount of marking on GLW (especially hatchery chicks) - I don't see anything that says "Definitely not GLW" in the pics of 2 and 3, but 3 is a bit harder to see details

they look like black sexlinks to me, their combs are also single combs, GLW are rosecomb which look different


This is how Gold Laced Wyandottes look like around that age... look at his comb and at his head color, GLW head are not black

They are eight weeks old today!

well the Good news is that they will lay better than GLW if thats of any use,
