What color egg would a CX (Cobb on Cobb) lay?

Still trying to figure out which of my young pullets laid a first egg today. It was small (size of a full grown bantam egg) and brown. It could be one of my layer pullets, but it could also be one of my CX pullets. They are 18 weeks old.
