after further inspection, she has a tail feather that appears to be all black and one wing feather that has a stripe along the bottom edge that is the color of my BO.

Actually, you have it backwards. Lol. Lavender is what Self Blue is called. Lavender is the genetic name for this color, its recognized color name is Self Blue, Lavender is a pet name given by breeders who seen this color in other countries called Lavender.
