I noticed that all of my chickens have orange eyes. Is this a breed thing, or can they not have any other color? If they can have other colors, what colors can they have?

My silkies have dark brown to red-brown eyes, the buff orpington has orange eyes with hints of green, my lightest colored Easter Egger has golden brown eyes, and the rest have medium brown eyes.

There are a wide variety of shades in different breeds, ages, etc.
The most common is orange and brown, in regular sized fowl, and dark brown-y eyes for a lot of bantams. Other possible colors are light brown, (almondy), reddish, yellow, and grey. I have also had a few chicks of different breeds with beautiful green eyes! A couple turned to orange when they got older, but if you're lucky, some breeds do keep the green!
There are also some with super dark brown, so they look black.
