Wow- she's pretty dark for a buff, but that's the closest I know of. I bet she'll be really pretty!
Kind of dark to be a buff. I'm not sure if that's a recognized color.
I thought it might be a blue buff or something?
I thought it was a boy?
probably not a normal color for a brahma. i have both the buff and the light and neither have that much black without some lacing around the feathers.
on FeatherSite they have a color called Red Columbian. but they don't show the hen's color-just the roo. might be close to this if you try and research it.
i just found this pic, it is a blue buff rooster, it kinda looks a bit like his colour?
i am going to say , a off colour/pet qulty blue buff.
She looks like a Red Columbian Brahma.
There's a picture of a Red Columbian roo about a quarter or the way do this page. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGA/Brahma/BRKBrahma.html

Quote:It isnt Pet Quality, It is good quality, but it must have been an experiment the breeder i got it off was trying to do..
his birds are all good quality.
I produced 3 or 4 cockerels very similar colored in my blue laced project this year. I would have liked to have found some body who could have used them. Not a very good shot, but check the youngster looking directly at the camera.
