We did think about that but my husband said he doesn't think so. The sightings are few and far between and the DNR isn't buying into bobcat in our area. But, with that said, I wonder what could drag a deer carcass up a tree...? And a scream I heard in the middle of the night that woke me up from a dead sleep. Hopefully, a game camera will answer my question. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

I did think of that but couldn't picture a dog climbing the 6-foot chain link fence. We've lived here for over 20 years and have seen one dog back here that didn't belong.

Why not set a trail-cam, that is if it’s worth it or you can’t figure it out.

That's a great idea. That will be my next step. One more thing, while the chickens were in the downstairs of our big barn for the winter, something was eating at the doors trying to get to them.

In my experience with chicken murdering dogs they dig under things. I haven't seen a trash panda claw at things like this either. Keep us posted if you use the trail cam

Well I had to google what kind of critters you do have. Is it possible a cougar is lurking around? They can and will scale things. We had one take out half a flock and leave nothing but footprints and one flattened chicken. They were outside when it happened so no idea if a cougar would claw at something like this but I wouldn't put it past them

Any obvious claw marks?
Doesn't look too serious, but odd for sure.
