I was thinking rose comb...but it also looks pea-combish

That looks like a pea comb alright. I just noticed he has a beard too. I would say that he is part buff Americauna, and I could be wrong. Americaunas are supposed to have grey legs though.
Oh and since we are all already here...
With him I rescued a black sexlink and two red/brown hens. They have black tips to some of their feathers and their tail feathers. Could they be New Hampshire red hens? Someone in another thread said RIR, but after looking at the New Hampshire's I'm not so sure..

He looks like an easter egger or ameraucana mix (or maybe faverolle) possibly with a new hampshire red or orpington. Maybe even with some brahma or wyandotte ancestry.Hello! Rescued this guy earlier today..what could his breed be? He is pretty tall and very handsome.
