What day for lockdown?

Hi everyone. This is our second time hatching quail eggs. The first time I put the eggs in the incubator on Monday January the 15th and lockdown on Monday and two weeks later on a Monday I put them on lockdown. First chick hatched right before we went to bed Wednesday night. This time I did the incubator on Sunday February the 18th before bed and put the quail on lockdown this morning. I had one hatching when I was putting them back in the bator. Should I have put them on lockdown yesterday? I am guessing I was a day late...

Yesterday was fine for lockdown day.
May have just been an early h atcher. Or could have been a hot spot in the incubator.
