What Did You Bring Home From Ohio Nationals?? PICS added...

I'm really glad you posted this thread. I am one who was not able to attend, but a bit green over those of you who did! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through these photos. I hope I get to meet some of you there next year.

Thanks so much. This pic was taken with no flash, but the blue eggs don't show up as dark as they are with the naked eye.

Time for a camera upgrade. I need to wait on my OE pullets to grow up a bit and lay some eggs, and find a plum egg layer...then I think I will have the full color scheme!

I'm liking that white silkie hen you bought! She's purdy! Was there an overwhelming silkie attendance? That's what I'm hoping to show there next year.

... she is very sweet. I kept going up and down the rows and I would see something new every time. it was a great way to learn about showing, get some tricks of the trade and my kids even found a way to make 5 bucks. I sent them on a mission to find the strangest looking bird they could. The winner was my 9 yr old with a Moscovie duck... VERY strange looking to him.. lol runner up was the guinea foul...

I finally got a pair of standard partridge wyandottes from Duane Urch. Will try to post pictures tomorrow. **happy dance** didn't last long because my son now claims them and wants to raise some to show next fall. He shows the bantam partridge too.

I just told my hubby that we need to start planning now to drive to the ON next year. Driving because I am sure I will find some sweet bird I just can't live without. LOL We live in Texas, so it will be a long drive, but it will be worth it! I've never seen that part of the country, so we'll make a vacation out of it.

Anyone know the dates yet for the 2011 ON?
