Black cockerel-about 5 months old. I'm very excited to see how big he is in the spring!

Yes I did. She was a very nice person and had some beautiful cochins. I think once I have them for a while and they feather out more, they will look even better! I got the black cockerel from a lady on the end of a row. The parent stock was entered in the junior show, but I don't know her name.​

What did YOU bring home from The OHIO NATIONAL?

It has been a week now since The OHIO NATIONAL ended and I have waited this time to get a message from someone who needed the BYC banner used in Columbus for another show.

Well. The person or persons unknown who cut the banner down and took it away have not contacted me so I guess that it can now be considered stollen. I really can't imagine what anyone would want it for unless they were some sort of BYC aficionado.

There was a lady who came to the show secretary's desk and asked if she could have the Chicken Whisperer's banner. She was told that maybe she should "walk over there and ask him yourself" while he was doing an interview. Wonder which banner was perceived to have more value.

How disgusting.

In any event we are most happy that so many of you came to the show and enjoyed the experience without having to take home a souvenir.

smoooth and frizzled buff barred cochins

So sorry that happened, what is wrong with people! If they wanted a sign that badly why not get one made or buy on from BYC. I have heard of birds being stolen, but this one takes the cake!
